Fair working conditions

We value fair and safe working conditions for all employees across our supply chains. This is why we have been a proud member of BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) since 2009. BSCI is an international initiative that commits to fair working conditions, human rights and ethical standards in supply chains. All our suppliers are BSCI & SMETA audited and have signed our Code of Conduct—guaranteeing fair and safe working conditions.

Tested products

Before our products enter the market, they are extensively tested and assessed against GPSR and REACH regulations. We use independent, renowned and accredited laboratories such as TÜV Rheinland, Bureau Veritas and Intertek. We maintain appropriate documentation and reporting mechanisms to ensure product traceability. This is how we ensure safe products for our consumers.

Safe raw materials

We make a meaningful impact through our conscious selection of sustainable materials. All our eyeglass frames—both reading glasses and sunglasses—are crafted from 100% recycled materials. We are also continuously expanding our collection to incorporate more sustainable options like stainless steel and sterling silver.

Certified packaging

We use only 100% FSC certified paper packaging for all products and remain committed to reducing plastic packaging. Our ongoing commitment to make sustainable packaging reflects our dedication to minimizing environmental impact.

Recycling and emissions

Not only do we separate waste for recycling, but we work daily to achieve emission-neutral operations.

CO₂ offsetting: We improve our efficiency and offset our emissions through social projects such as tree planting.

Green energy: We use green energy from renewable sources as much as possible.

Sustainable transport: We continuously optimize the number of shipments to reduce our impact.

Transparency: We report via Amfori Sustainapass for transparent and responsible business practices.

Smart Service Planning Tool

Our digital platform – the Smart Service Planning Tool – is fully developed in-house and continuously optimized by our digital team. It enables us to better serve our partners while streamlining our own operations.

We use smart technology with purpose: to drive continuous improvement. By planning shipments and staff routes more efficiently, we reduce both operational costs and our environmental impact.

The tool also provides insights into sales performance per store, allowing us to tailor product shipments and significantly reduce the number of returns.

Community involvement

We believe in the power of community involvement and are committed to initiatives that contribute to a better world. One example is our collaboration the Kanjerkeeting (Champion’s Necklace) project. Together, these beads form the Kanjerketting, which tells the story of a child with cancer. The colorful Kanjer necklace serves as both emotional support for children undergoing their tough treatment.
